Boston and Personal Development
Personal development is my passion. Humanity’s inclination to transcend limits and unleash untapped potential has always fascinated me. The four-minute mile, the moonshot, and study of flow state, for instance. Generation after generation, we continue to expand what’s possible for us as individuals and collectively. And we are always capable of greater things than most people realize.
I make it a point to follow my curiosity and passion. Because I’m obsessed with human potential, I’ve attended more trainings, seminars, and workshops than I can count. Vipassana meditation, holotropic breathwork, Landmark Education, and PSI Seminars, to name a few. I was also certified as a massage therapist. And I’ve spoken at conventions, colleges, and community centers about the superhero as a personal development archetype.
Another approach I’ve taken is acting. Under the right teachers, an actor’s training is a psycho-spiritual ordeal that borders on the shamanic. I’ve acted on stage, television, and in film. I’ve written, directed, and produced theatre and film. And nothing has taught me more about what motivates people, what troubles them, and how to work with emotions.
I love a good adventure, and I feel at home at Burning Man and on the California AIDS/LifeCycle. In 2018, I solo roadtripped to Jackson Hole for the Solar Eclipse, which was one of the most magnificent things I’ve ever witnessed!
I love living in the Bay Area, where I try to watch as many sunsets as possible.
In all of our work, I have found Boston to be fabulous thinking partner and guide. However complex the problem, he’s able to help you deconstruct and rebuild with ease. Thanks to Boston’s encyclopedic knowledge of personal growth, whether it’s DiSC or Landmark or Brené Brown, he can distill all his learning down into a drop of knowledge that I savor for days.
Because Boston is both adventuresome and compassionate, he can call you forth and hold a safe space while he does it. His willingness to be his most authentic self allows us all permission to be our own selves. He’s helped me think through the thorniest of issues in minutes, providing invaluable insight and perspectives you’d expect from a veteran coach 20 times his age.
He will spark your creativity, remind you of your superpowers, and foster the sense of possibility that transforms dreams into reality. Whether it’s identifying and cultivating fulfilling relationships, getting clear about what is or isn’t serving you in your life, or setting boundaries at work, Boston’s your guy.
If you’re about to embark on a journey or are in the midst of a challenging transition, Boston’s kindness, discernment, and integrity will create a safe container for you to unfold into your most magnificent self.”

I have had the pleasure of knowing Boston Blake for almost 4 years now. We have worked together as fellow actors. He has directed me in plays. And he has guided me in my own personal life. Boston is an incredibly intuitive and receptive individual. He listens with his whole self and succinctly provides honest, specific, and heartfelt feedback whenever asked.
Boston is able to clearly articulate points of view that truly open my mind, my heart and my perspective. Also, his ability to examine a situation and go quickly and deeply to the root of the issue is pure gold. I am so grateful for the wealth of wisdom Boston has given me over the years and am continually inspired by his innate passion to listen, give, and connect.”
